Hmmm... I write in here for catharsis, for support, and to be an asshole...enjoy.

I don’t know if this is an unpleasant quality or not, but I tend to hold very loose associations with people/things in general.

I think that Velcro was a very ingenious invention, however, I feel that Velcro is overused, is sometimes tacky, has to be sewn/stuck properly to work, and that a lot of times there are better options than using it. I hate the feeling of being Velcroed to someone/something else (except my significant other). I have friends and people whom I love, care for, associate with, am friends with, but I feel that in life, there are many trajectories upon which our lives could be headed at any moment. I can’t seem to attach myself to something for too long, especially when it can be potentially stagnant and unfulfilling. I think too many people make decisions and stay convicted to them, when, they know in fact that these decisions may’ve been poor ones, or were once promising and are becoming dire. I am a pragmatist…I will be happy as long as I’m subtley changing and adapting daily. Through this journal, I hope to reflect subtle changes…from my first entry to my most recent I hope the subtle changes reflect more profound ones. Life, in my opinion, is a game that we play by ourselves, a game where the goal is some sort of self-actualization, enlightenment, or self-understanding, and through that understanding/enlightenment/actualization that we can affect the world in some positive way.
